So, I have decided to invest (or rather request for Christmas) the Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet. It'll be my first tablet which is why I'm not investing in anything too big or crazy or pricey, considering I'm not even in the professional art field. Just as a hobby I've heard reviews that this tablet is good for starters, and the $69 price (cheaper on Amazon) seems to be the perfect budget for a starving college kid.  However, I AM wondering what version of Photoshop to get. Photoshop Elements 9 seems to be the newest version out, and I'm wondering as artists what everyone uses. I used to have open Canvas 3.smthn on my desktop, and sadly my laptop says there's an error every time I try to install it. SOOOO i'm resorting to actually contributing to society and buying Photoshop.

Which one?

ALSO, now after hearing my mom bombard me with "are you sures" for the tablet... I'm wondering if the Wacom Bamboo Pen is really the right buy. Does anyone have Bamboo Fun and what is everyone's advice on buying a tablet for amateurish doodles?
